
MURIEL GONZALEZ MASSON
After seven years spent in the workshops of the city of Boulogne-Billancourt, next to Paris, I have then deepened my technique and developed my expression with established visual artists.
In 2008, the move to my own studio in Orsay allowed me to work on large scale paintings. A first series of abstract oil paintings was born on the theme of the in-between and wandering, between dream and reality.
Most of my work is a gestural work using imprint and traces, as the expression of visible and invisible. In 2018, I discovered ceramics and began the production of several series, in echo with my paintings. My sculptures are inspired by organic and mineral elements of nature. The last series « Little worlds » are small representations of a phantasmagorical universe, which would find place in a cabinet of curiosities…
